You must understand one another’s vision and expectations to successfully provide your products or services. Though thorough planning is executed, oftentimes, communication can fall short.
With Infocenter’s VELA™ Vendor Management app, built on the ServiceNow platform, you can associate your vendors with Project and Task records that determine where a vendor can submit invoices, making it simple for you to map these Projects and Tasks to multiple vendors.
VELA™ encourages open communication between you and your vendors by providing vendors access to their own portal. Here, they can maintain their account information, submit the necessary Certificates of Insurance, and send their invoices.
STRENGTHEN INTERACTIONS BETWEEN BOTH YOUR TEAM AND VENDORS
To further simplify usage, invoices can be broken down by Project and Task if vendors work on multiple projects. Once invoices are submitted by your vendors, they are then routed through an internal approval cycle. The process is smooth; the invoices are delivered to your Project Manager first, then to Accounting where the vendors can receive prompt payment.
